The UNC Aquatics Coordinator will provide leadership and advisement to a diverse and comprehensive Aquatics program that offers approximately 30 programs serving more than 3,000 participants annually through learn to swim programs and special events. The primary purpose of the position is to develop, direct, and foster an aquatics-based learning environment and to oversee and administer Aquatics programs including a comprehensive swim lesson program to the campus and local communities. The position manages UNC Aquatics student employees, creates leadership development opportunities, maintains and updates records, policies, procedures, and provides facility, risk, and event management support to Campus Recreation.
