Salisbury University is seeking a graduate assistant in the Campus Recreation department for club sports and intramurals. This is a two-year position with a stipend and tuition waiver. General responsibilities are outlined below.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the implementation of all phases of Campus Recreation, which include Intramurals, Sport Clubs & Facilities
Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling of student staff
Assist with social media presence of intramural and club sports programs
Assist in program evaluation and development of rules, policies, and procedures
Assist with developing, planning, and covering Intramural and Club Sport events
Work cooperatively with other Campus Recreation staff members and assist with departmental special events
Maintain an active presence in all Intramural Sports or Club Sports programs or events
Management and maintenance of equipment and indoor/outdoor facilities
Facility supervision some evenings/weekends required. Other duties as assigned.
