The Assistant Director of Facilities is responsible for the overall administration, direction and supervision of the three Recreation and Wellness facilities, the Campus Recreation Center, the Fit, and the Fitness Center at the WELL. Responsibilities include supervision and development of two program coordinators (Facilities, Special Events) and the indoor maintenance team consisting of five maintenance technicians. Position will also serve as the primary liaison with USF Facilities Management for the department.
Assistant Director of Facilities will contribute to the management of Recreation and Wellness as a member of the department’s administration team. Responsible for budget, purchasing, risk management, and student and professional development as each relates to programmatic unit.

Minimum Qualifications: requires a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of four years related exempt experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Student Affairs, Physical Education or Exercise Science, Sport and Event Management or related. Four years of professional experience in collegiate recreation setting with emphasis on program areas of facility management, and/or special events.
