Coordinator of Competitive Sports
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director of Competitive Sports, the Coordinator of Competitive Sports will provide leadership and management of all aspects of the Club Sports and Intramural Sports programing. Specific responsibilities include direct supervision of student staff, training and leadership development for both Club Sport officers and Competitive Sports staff, execution of programs, and oversight of assigned sports.

Coordinator of Facilities & Operations (2)
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation for Facilities & Operations, the Coordinator of Facilities & Operations will serve on a team responsible for the daily operation and management of Campus Recreation facilities at Penn State University. Specific responsibilites include direct supervision of student staff, student development, day-to-day operations of assigned building and occasional support for other buildings, projects, and events. One position will serve primarily in the IM Building and the other position will serve primarily in the White Building.

Coordinator of Reservations, Membership & Outreach
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director of Reservations, Membership & Outreach, the Coordinator of Reservations, Membership & Outreach will assist in the overall management of Campus Recreation reservations/rentals, general membership operations including the use of Innosoft Fusion, and support department outreach initiatives and collaboration opportunities.

Education and Experience
This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of collegiate recreation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A master’s degree in recreation, sport management, higher education, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to select, supervise, motivate, train, and evaluate student employees is required.
Knowledge of student development principles and an ability to provide formal and informal student development opportunities for student staff is required.
Knowledge of safety and risk management practices as they relate to collegiate recreation is required.
A working knowledge of software systems such as Fusion, IMLeagues, WhenToWork, or similar is required.
