This position provides leadership to Health & Human Services Divisional operations and facilities and the Fitness & Wellness program faculty at Lansing Commuity College through schedule development, hiring and evaluating faculty, workload assignments, and assisting with budget development. This position is also responsible for all administrative aspects of the main campus HHS Building and Gannon Building along with west campus fitness and wellness facilities. This position hires and supervises the student staff working in the Division’s facilities. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field, and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field with a Nationally Accredited Certification such as: ACSM, NASM, ACE, CSCS, etc.
At least two years of academic administrative experience including planning, schedule development, recruitment and/or hiring of faculty and student staff preferred.
