The Assistant Director serves as a senior member of the Department of Campus Recreation leadership team. The primary function of this position is to create, establish and maintain an outdoor recreation program for the Department of Campus Recreation. Outdoor Recreation will serve as a signature program within the department and contribute to student wellbeing. The incumbent will also manage the operation of the outdoor recreation program including promotion, registration, staffing, and risk management. This person will scout and secure various locations both locally and regionally such as lakes, rivers, hiking trails, bike trails, parks, etc. for programming efforts. This position will
