The Student Employment and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing a comprehensive student employment program for approximately 200 part-time student staff. This position will also create, develop and execute marketing strategies for the services and programs. Major responsibilities include: Manage the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation and training of all student employees; develop recognition and professional development programs that retain student employees; assist with the human resource management processes; manage day to day signage; coordinate all digital media marketing.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Wellness Center student employment program
Assist in managing a diverse communication and marketing strategy for the Wellness Center programs, services and initiatives
Manage student development and program assessment projects
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience recruiting, training or supervising employees
Experience with basic graphic design
Experience creating, developing and executing production of marketing campaign materials
Strong written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
Program or event planning experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines and delegate duties
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to execute tasks independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a college or university recreation setting
Experience with NDSU part-time student employment policies and procedures
Experience with Peoplesoft
Experience with HTML
Experience with Fusion Recreation Management Software
Experience with Adobe InDesign
