The Director is responsible for the overall management of University Recreation in the Division of Student Affairs. Develop a comprehensive risk management strategy that is consistent with the University’s risk management objectives and provide a safe environment for all participants. The Director is responsible for the departments marketing and public relations activities. The Director serves as the hiring authority of University Recreation staff. In this role, the Director is responsible for hiring, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating professional staff and managing the process for student staff evaluations.
