The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:
Maintains and updates safety protocols and procedures for Recreational Sports programs, especially focusing on the Club Sports Program handbooks and travel procedures.
Assists in overseeing and administering the Club Sports Program.
Ensures adherence to Club Sports policies and procedures.
Assists with the on-going development and management of the Club Sports Council.
Maintains and monitors multiple budgets for Club Sports Programs.
Assists in overseeing and administering the Intramural Sports Program.
Ensures adherence to Intramural Sports policies and procedures.
Recruits, trains, and supervises Recreational Sports staff including, but not limited to: office staff, club sport coaches, club leaders, graduate assistants, officials, supervisors and an athletic trainer.
Publicizes and markets Campus Recreation programs, through websites, print, and social media.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience: 2 years work-related experience in collegiate recreational sports programming
Required education, licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within three months of employment.
Experience scheduling league and tournament competitions.
Knowledge and experience with current industry standards and risk management standards for recreational sports programming.
Wide ranging experience with recreational sports programming.
Experience managing a collegiate Club Sports Program.
