The Athletics Department at Endicott College is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Intramurals/Club Sports, Marketing and Promotions and Contest Management. In this position you will gain experience and proficiency in planning, managing, and developing intramural programming for students.
Intramurals is a vibrant and essential part of the Endicott College community. What's unique about the intramural program at Endicott is that participants compete at the same facilities as our varsity student-athletes. Students have access to the turfed Hempstead Stadium and North Field, MacDonald Gymnasium and field house inside the Post Center, and the Raymond J. Bourque Ice Arena.
Organize and assist with intramural programs and resident hall recreational activities
Assist with the marketing and promotions of varsity and club athletics, intramurals and recreational activities
Responsible for training, evaluating and monitoring intramural and recreational work-study staff.
Responsible for intramural equipment and inventory control
Prepare season/monthly, semester
Oversee day to day intramural operations
Contest Manager responsibilities would include multiple duties surrounding athletic events including but not limited to ensuring fields/courts are ready for play, welcoming the opposing team to campus, escorting teams/coaches to locker rooms and playing fields, supervising the student workers at the event, assisting the Event Manager with the overall operation of the event and be available for games/ride fan busses during championship events. Club Sports responsibilities would include but not limited to traveling with teams to tournaments or games and/or aiding in the planning of trips.

Benefits: Aug - May contract for two years as stated in the Employee Handbook for part-time, exempt, administration employees. Package includes stipend paid over 21 pay periods, room, board, meal plan and tuition remission. Class fees are not included. Hours include nights and weekends
Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or related field
Experience in the field of recreation.
Acceptance into Endicott College School of Graduate & Professional Studies.
CPR and First Aid Certification required.
