The Membership & Sales Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of program registration and membership sales for the Campus Recreation Department which includes the Anteater Recreation Center. The coordinator provides customer service and sales leadership by serving as a front line, hands-on manager at the Campus Recreation Services desk. Responsibilities include hiring, training and scheduling of student staff, cash handling, deposits, PCI compliance, periodic audits of procedures and change funds for Campus Recreation Services and all satellite sales areas, maintenance and input of registration information in the proprietary recreation software and active participation in Campus Recreation student staff development committees.
3-5 years’ work experience with BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience. Dynamic positive customer service skills to create an outgoing, positive membership environment. Excellent analytical and organization skills for developing systems and processes that insure consistency with information and services provided. Supervisory skills to train students in customer service and processes. Initiation of innovative ideas and systems that provide process improvement. Experience in working with database systems and general high functioning computer application user.
