Assists in the administration and management of all operational and programming aspects of the intramural sports program, including officials training, scheduling, management planning, assisting with informal recreation and special events.
Assist with the recruiting, training, evaluating, and supervision of all student officials
Assist with the bi-weekly official's payroll
Coordinate and supervise evening and weekend programs and special events
Provide supervision of the Recreational Sports Center and safety checks
Manage facility supervision and reporting on facility needs
Assist with functional and administrative responsibility of the Intramural Supervisor staff, and special events
Coordinate internal customer service and marketing plans for intramural and student staff
Compile a monthly report of strengths and weakness of programs and areas of responsibilities
Maintains supervisor, officials, and risk management manuals and rule books
Assist with supervision, training and evaluation of intramural supervisors and officials
Assist with planning and preparation of summer camps activities
Track and analyze team and individual participation counts
Assist with staffing of weekend special reservations
Assists in purchasing and maintaining inventories for all equipment and supplies
Follow all departmental and program policies
Other duties as assigned
CPR and First Aid certification or obtained with in 30 days of employment
M.S. in Sport Management or related field
B.S. in Sport Management or related field
Current CPR and first aid
Sport playing and or officiating experience
Experience teaching sport skills
