Coordinator of Aquatics & Safety is responsible for the oversight and management of aquatic programs and staff. This position will manage all aspects of the learn to swim program as well as safety certifications and programming. The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the management of the natatorium. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred and at least two years of programming experience preferred.
Coordinator of Marketing & Special Events is responsible for the oversight and development of departmental brand development and enhancement through print, digital and social media. Responsibilities include website management, graphic design, campus and community event representation and part-time staff oversight. This position assists in member recruitment and program area outreach. Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, advertising or related field required; Master’s preferred ant at least two years of graduate or professional campus recreation experience preferred.
Graduate Assistant of Membership & Marketing will assist in the promotion of Campus Recreation through special event management, marketing and promotional opportunities and member events/interactions. The graduate assistant will assist in the supervision of part-time member & guest service staff and marketing assistants. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, Business Marketing, Sports Administration, Higher Education or closely related field as well as acceptance into the College of Graduate Studies at Marshall University required.
Graduate Assistant of Facility Operations is responsible for assisting in day to day operations and management of the 123,000 square foot Marshall Recreation Center. This position assists in managing all aspects of informal recreation, facility rentals, custodial operations, student staff oversight as well as equipment and facility maintenance. Bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport management or related field as well as acceptance into the College of Graduate Studies at Marshall University required.
