TRC’s Marketing Manager is directly responsible for leading, coordinating and managing all communications and marketing for TRC, focusing on growing the TRC Community and expanding brand awareness across multiple facility markets. The Marketing Manager is a Corporate Role and must have a constant awareness of TRC’s vision and community, brand management, social media presence, and other digital/print marketing needs.
The Marketing Manager will: develop, implement and track effective marketing and communication strategies and campaigns across multiple facilities and markets, manage Digital media platforms such as SEO, ads, etc., manage website material, and provide marketing support for TRC sponsored events.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to –
Manage TRC’s social media platforms, including but not limited too: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat
Create and publish brand relevant content to increase TRC’s social footprint, drive engagement, and increase responsiveness through social media platforms
Review Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics and other applicable social tools to produce monthly traffic and engagement reports, evaluates and refines content strategy based on these analytics.
Manage TRC’s email system and execute regular email marketing and communication campaigns
Develop and execute marketing campaigns for TRC’s large community events, programs, and promotions
Create and manage social, digital, and print ads to support TRC programs and offerings
Work closely with Club Directors on facility specific marketing needs
Create and distribute graphic designs, copy, and video for all facilities’ digital and/or print marketing needs including corporate and facility collateral (envelopes, business cards, etc), flyers, and monthly calendars
Maintain TRC’s online presence through management of TRC’s listings on sites such as Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, etc.
Serves as the liaison with TRC’s website administrator and responsible for monitoring, maintaining and updating website content
Provides marketing support for all TRC sponsored events
Any and all tasks as requested by Management.
BA in Communications, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in communications
Experience with social media management and email marketing tools required
Previous experience in graphic design and WordPress required
Experience managing SEO campaigns strongly preferred
Demonstrated extensive, successful writing and editing experience with a variety of print and digital media
Previous photography/video experience
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, meet production deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism, initiative, creativity, and problem-solving
Advanced computer skills (MS office, website platforms, Adobe Creative Suite) and the ability to learn new software and online content management systems
A strong passion for climbing preferred
Positive attitude and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
