Facilities and Outdoor Adventures (1 Position): The Facility Management and Outdoor Adventure Graduate Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of the daily supervision and operation of the Student Recreation Center (SRC) and outdoor facilities; assist in recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of the undergraduate facility management staff. Correspond with students, staff, participants, and guests; assist in the management and maintenance of SRC equipment and facilities. Conduct risk management training, in-service meetings and conduct student development opportunities. Responsible for the overall administration of the outdoor programs. Serve as a trip leader for all outdoor adventure trips;day and overnight. Plan, develop and execute itineraries for all trips. Determine budget and travel needs. Create promotional marketing materials

Fitness (1 Position) - The Fitness Graduate Assistant will be responsible for programming, promotion, scheduling, and evaluation of group exercise, personal training and wellness programs; train, schedule supervise and evaluate students performing fitness assessments and group exercise classes; assist in program development activities in the group exercise studio, management and maintenance of equipment and facilities; lead and assist with Student Recreation Center special events such as Health and Wellness Fair, Farmer's Market, Bench Press Competition etc. Assist with student development, marketing of events, and all training's. Assist with hosting national fitness certifications and workshops. National Group Exercise and/or Personal Training Certification preferred.

Intramurals and Sport Club (1 Position)- The Intramurals and Sport Club Graduate Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the overall administration of the Intramurals and Sport Club program. This includes recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and assessing student staff. Develop programming, promotion, and scheduling of team sports, individual/dual sports and special events. Assist with the budgeting and leadership development of club officers. Conduct captain's meetings develop and oversee risk management procedures. Develop a marketing plan to improve outreach, maintain all club documentation to include eligibility, travel, waivers and financial reports.

Bachelor's degree in related field, admission into a Georgia Southern graduate program, demonstrated knowledge of experience in a campus recreation program, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and professionalism and willingness to learn.
Additional Salary Information: $9,000 for a 9-month appointment and a full tuition waiver. Student is responsible for activity fees and books. Professional development funding and summer employment are available.
