The Graduate Assistant (GA) position is a para-professional role within the Division of Student Affairs and reports to the respective departmental supervisor. The GA is expected to contribute to the development, supervision, and evaluation of campus programming for both the specific department and the Division of Student Affairs.
The Graduate Assistant for Campus Recreation – Fitness & Aquatics will be responsible for providing direct support to the overall operation of the Department of Campus Recreation. This includes oversight and management of The Fitness Center, Pool, Fitness & Wellness initiatives, and the employees associated in each area.
This position will pay an $6,000 stipend and includes tuition, housing and a limited meal plan.

Ability to hire, train, manage and evaluate a staff of: 2 student coordinators, 10 student supervisors, 20 facility attendants, 10 lifeguards, and 5 swim instructors.
Experience coordinating special events.
